[mood |nostalgicnostalgic]

interesting things that have happened recently:

- was bought tinned cat food for maybe the first time ever! It was awesome.
One day I had "whole fish in jelly", on another day "sardines in jelly", and then on another day "seafood variety basket in jelly".
man, that stuff is the shit. "Cat's Meow" biscuits bite a big hairy dogs ass.
- Chris has gone over east. Who's going to clean my poop?. Shit smells.
- Have been feeling a little bit lonely lately. I never used to, but I've started sitting on people. In fact, I'm sitting at the computer on Karen's lap at this very moment. dude there is a moth on the ceiling.
- last night I had a dream about chasing a mouse. It was very small. Grey, of course. It was the best dream ever.
- Jacarandas are in bloom. Something about these trees being in bloom makes me acutely aware of the passing of time. I am but a young cat, but I must never forget the inevitability of the setting sun, and my own mortality. Having passed through many human lives and being incarnated in feline form, I am beginning to anticipate a blissful satori of wriggling fresh fish and little mice. Life truly is about the small things.

Chrism asked Twenty, 'Has a dog Buddha-nature or not?'

Twenty answered: 'Mau.'

However, animal physiologist Kathrin Dausmann of Phillips University, Germany and coworkers present evidence in the 24 June 2004 edition of Nature that the Madagascan fat-tailed dwarf lemur hibernates for seven months of the year in tree holes.

Two days ago I watched fenris chase the cat next door all the way down the street. It made me feel warm and happy. After that I let him stroke me as a reward.

Also purr-worthy news is chrism not realising that the place where my food is stored has been moved to a different cupboard so he kept buying me food thinking i'd run out. haha! stupid (but lovable) humans.

i was lying on my brown couch in karen's room and chrism comes in and he's ranting at me about how cute i am (does he think i don't realise?). then chrism is like "i wish i could clone her." and karen's like "noooo!" and chrism's like "what, she can't have babies, but i want her superior genetics to survive." i hit my left ear with my left paw three times rapidly in response to this but nobody noticed. then chrism and crispin started talking about cryogenics - crispin is all like "you should snap freeze her when she dies." of course what they were actually talking about was cryopreservation - cryogenics is just the study of low temperatures and the production of low temperatures. i wonder if i would superconduct if i was frozen? anyway, i think it's a great idea - in 3000 years time a clone army of twenties will over-run the world with cuteness. it'll be all like floating silver blobs with bevelled edges and humans with platters of fish and robots with bits of string with balls of paper tied to them and white plastic and grey kittens and me me me me me me times a million!
